VIDEO: My Year in Pro Wrestling Travels
After my debut, I kind of disappeared. And while there was a lot of other things happening behind the scenes, I did somehow manage to travel more than 7,700 miles in the name of pro wrestling. I knew that when I returned I wanted something to show for it, and this video represents those efforts to try and make good with everyone who believed in me, and had kept in touch during those long months.
I hadn't originally planned on traveling so much, but when my favorite wrestling promotion on the planet, Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling, announced their first major show in the US, I just knew I had to be there. It was that same feeling of extreme FOMO that also led to a trip to Chicago for AEW's inaugural Forbidden Door event.
And when I wasn't traveling across the country for major wrestling dream cards, I was putting in the miles behind the wheel to attend as many Deadlock Pro Wrestling shows as possible. If you haven't heard of them before, then you'll want to watch this video to hear all about the best up and coming indie promotion in America.
This is the kind of video I want to make more of. I want to show wrestling fans who aren't making it out to their local promotion what they're missing out on. I want to bring that energy back home to them and inspire as many fans of wrestling as possible to get involved in their local scenes and enjoy wrestling. This is hopefully just the start!
